Support Starlight Children's Foundation has now finished

By raising funds for Starlight you can help brighten the lives of seriously ill children just like Paris. Six-year-old Paris is a gorgeous little girl who suffers from a chronic bowel and digestive condition. While she looks healthy, Paris requires constant medical treatments and her condition means she will require hospitalisation and extensive surgery in the future. Sadly, Paris’s four-year-old brother Noah also suffers from the same condition, “As a parent with two chronically ill children, you can imagine the strain we face in caring for our children and supporting them financially. We are constantly in and out of hospital with one or both children needing treatment. Having to deal with both children being sick is stressful, but with help from others we can cope with our situation, taking each day as it comes.” – Annita, Paris’s mum said. When Paris and Noah are in hospital they often visit the Starlight Express Rooms, and even when they are confined to bed enjoy playing with Starlight Fun Centres. Last October, Paris was granted a Starlight Wish - “a special cubby house.” “Paris loves her cubby house, it’s given her a chance to have fun and be a kid again,” Annita explained. “Starlight has opened our eyes to the outstanding work of so many dedicated people taking place around Australia, bringing smiles, hope and joy to very ill children and their families. We hope this continues forever.”
